I've been having some issues with the checker texture on my USP Tactical so I bought one of Hogue's slip on finger grips for the Glock. It works great. I thought it would be to big, but when I got it to the range I was driving tacks with it!

I saw a Hogue grip on a used USP Compact .45 at my LGS. I tried it out then bought one for my Elite and the USP Compact I bought NIB that day. To me it made a great fit even better and I do not have large hands. One thing though, it is easier to put them on upsidedown than you think. I had to reverse one of mine to get the fit right and the wrinkles out. Yours looks like it might need that too.

Yea, that's funny. I had to look at it several times to make sure I wasn't putting it on upside down.

Hello all, first post here and all. pls do not take offence.

PLEASE be careful with these slip-on grips. not only do they "slip-on" but Slip around-up and down, and will block the mag-release button, and prevent it from functioning. As well they can, and will, block the magazine well when, not if, they slide down. This making it impossible to re-insert a new magazine when you need it the most. Either of these things are a minor distraction at the range but DEADLY for a duty weapon.
I am a big fan of Hogue grips, I have one on my 357, also on my Beretta, theres nothing nicer.
But if you don't have the time (SHTF)to adjust to make sure nothings in the way of a fully functional weapon. how can you know? Your trying to get this thing out from under your (shirt, jacket, fanny pack). In and out of the car all day. It only takes the smallest bit of this "grip rubber" to cause a major F-up.
I claim not to be an "expert" but I carry a H&K as a duty weapon daily. we have had this problem in the past. For a range gun,, a few well placed dabs of silacone adhesive from your local hardware store??? Please be safe. Correct me if I am wrong.

I too love my Compact 40 with the slip grip. Fits my hand like a glove.

My experience with these grips was similar, although i found all these issues before i took one of these outside with me. a simple few cuts with an exacto knife or razor takes care of all these issues. they are so snug they didn't move for me once installed and never hindered the operation of the weapon if i "custom" fit the grip where need be (mag well and mag release levers). they did interfere before those cuts, but like i said, a few snips and she's ready to go.

i also had that problem on my tac .45. it got a little bit of lubricant under it when i was cleaning so i took it off , cleaned all the lube off with soap and water and let dry - then i cut a U shaped slit on the top of the slip on grip so it doesnt even close to the mag release even when pushed really far up. works great and feels great
