yeah... but historically, bayonets were used for things OTHER than killing or stabbing/cutting someone. truth.

As long as you include those other things as in addition to the killing stabbing and such, yeah. Prior to the US Civil War, bayonets generally caused a greater number of wounds than bullets.

yeah, but post civil war...let's say, um, present day? research has shown those bayonets are used less frequently than someone pulling the trigger and missing on purpose (those fire for effect guys?). you'd be better off with the knife in your support hand than mounted on a pistol that now you can't really holster or...keep in a pocket?

The bad guy probably would be hesitant to try to wrestle the pistol away from you – for the same reason he wouldn’t try to pick up a scorpion.

hey does anyone have a pistol bayonet? the store by my house sells the laserlyte kabar pistol bayonets and i was wondering if they fit on a regular accessory rail? i was wanting to try and put one on my mossberg 500, they look cool and look like they would fit on a regular rail, anyone have one and know if it fits a rail? thanks
