The Heckler & Koch Gray Room, currently housed in HK’s Virginia facility, is a unique collection. The original HK Gray Room is located at Heckler & Koch’s Global Headquarters in Oberndorf, Germany. The German Gray Room also functions as a pattern room for the company’s design and engineering staff. Photos from the gray room will be posted each month.

The pistols with wooden grips are P9S pistols and there is one P7M8.

I would love to visit the Gray Room one of these days. My favorite handgun Hk builds is the P7 variant (preferably M8/M13's). I currently am working on my 5th one sometime this week.

that pistol has a stock on it. with a muzzle break. that would be fun to shoot. its like a mini tac driver.

Looks like the VP70, but i can't blow up the image, no photoshop. that thing has a gnarly trigger pull as I recall, something like 18lbs. the military/police model (VP70M) had something like a 2200 round per minute rate, which is why i think the trigger was so heavy. Just a beast, and probably damned fun to shoot if your hands are up to it.

Yes, it is the VP70 and they are well known for that atrocious trigger pull. And they are also well known for being the first polymer framed pistol. Sorry Glock guys, seems you are an also-ran yet again!  nudge, nudge.

Wow, they even have several experimental G11 (right wall at the back) and XM8 Assault Rifles (right wall at the front) in the gray room. I wish my conference room was decorated like that. 8)
